Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

This section is located on the first floor of the hospital, adjacent to the operating room and delivery room, and is able to provide services to all newborns born in this center as well as newborns admitted from other hospitals.This department has experienced and skilled personnel proficient in working in the NICU special care unit and includes 7 inpatient beds in the form of advanced incubators, all of which have attachments equipped with full monitoring, skin surface temperature control and incubator internal environment control. It also has all the necessary equipment for this department.
Specialized activities of the department:
Patients with jaundice, meconium aspiration syndrome (MAS), premature infants, respiratory distress, hyaline membrane disease (HMD), blood transfusion, pneumonia, surgical problems, weak sucking and inability to breastfeed, diarrhea and vomiting, various infections, congenital heart diseases, infants of diabetic mothers, low Apgar score, infants of mothers with high-risk pregnancies including: mothers with high blood pressure, preeclampsia, difficult delivery and vacuum-assisted delivery.
Special facilities include:
Ventilator for various types of assisted ventilation, nebulizer, negatoscope and imaging devices, venoscope, resuscitation set, high-quality phototherapy.
